About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic team player to join our Sourcing Operations team. This role is critical in maintaining operational excellence and facilitating strategic initiatives. You will manage supplier relationships, execute productivity projects, and support the team in achieving key objectives.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage purchase order cycles, mastering Heroes' internal procurement tools and resolving PO issues independently.
  
• Research and approach new suppliers, attend trade fairs, and identify suitable suppliers for Heroes, ensuring they meet our requirements.
  
• Manage Heroes' supplier scorecard program, reviewing and optimizing KPIs for suppliers.
  
• Renegotiate with suppliers to deliver better offers, leveraging data and tools to support negotiations.
  
• Understand key price compositions of products, to execute tender and cross-cost initiatives to generate productivity as per the project plan.
  
• Maintain relationships with Brand Managers for designated brands, obtain brand’s overview and plans
• Engage in reporting and contribute to team objectives.
  
  

About you

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or operations.
  
• Experience in the baby industry or toy industry is preferable.
  
• University graduate in Business, Commercial, Procurement, or Supply Chain is a plus.
  
• Experience working in multinational businesses (retail or online preferred) with the flexibility to accommodate cultural and time zone differences.
  
• Multi-lingual proficiency
  
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  
• Strong numerical acumen.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
